When to Calibrate ADAS
When Should ADAS Be Calibrated?
ADAS sensors are extremely precise and require recalibration if their positions are disturbed in any way. Typically, a misaligned sensor is a result of a collision. However, recalibration may also be required after routine vehicle maintenance, such as windshield replacement, suspension repair, or wheel alignment. If you’ve recently been in a motor vehicle accident or collision, or suspect an issue with one of your ADAS sensors, we encourage you to bring your vehicle into RAAS for an inspection.
What Happens if ADAS is Not Calibrated?
If ADAS is not calibrated, the collision shop or the glass repair shop may be held liable.
